HAKKO brings the FX-805 high-performance soldering station, the FX-805 is a further development of the successful FX-801 power soldering station. Equipped with a 400 watt heating element, the FX-805 is characterized by a significant increase in performance. This makes the high-performance soldering station suitable for use with high-mass solder joints with strong heat dissipation.
The predecessor model FX-801 already set standards in the field of power electronics. The soldering station, which was presented for the first time in 2015, is still widely used around the world today. „However, the demands on power electronics are constantly increasing, especially in the automotive sector. It was therefore a logical step to develop a successor model,“ emphasizes Kirstin Kullik, Managing Director of Technisches Büro Kullik GmbH.
In the FX-805, the temperature sensor is positioned near the tip end to achieve faster heating and a higher temperature stability of +/- 5 °C compared to the previous model. The newly developed soldering station is also suitable for a temperature range of 50° - 500 °C. The newly developed 4th generation soldering tips from HAKKO can also be used to solder transformers, coils on power supply boards and shielding housings on communication devices, for example.
When developing the FX-805 Ultra Power Station, the user's expectations of the soldering station were also taken into account. The handpiece is characterized by an ergonomic shape and a weight of just 50 g. The soldering station is therefore comfortable and user-friendly to operate. The soldering station is therefore comfortable and user-friendly to operate.
Thanks to direct data transfer, the company's own software also automatically records parameters such as the set temperature, calibration/offset and the temperature of the tip sensor during soldering, thus ensuring user-independent, error-free operation. In addition, all process-relevant data is saved for 100 % traceability. The technology therefore meets Industry 4.0 requirements.
