Automated soldering at a new level - flexibility and control for the highest soldering quality

With the FU-500 / FU-601 Hakko presents an auto soldering station that has been specially developed for demanding soldering work on electronic components. The automatic soldering system is characterized by its versatility and can be integrated into a wide range of robots with an extensive selection of soldering irons.

For example, the auto soldering station can be combined effectively and across manufacturers with gantry robots and cobots. The soldering system also guarantees maximum efficiency, precision and repeat accuracy in automated production processes in demanding industries such as automotive engineering and energy supply.

„With its extensive range of automation solutions for electronics production, Hakko aims to make production processes efficient and precise while ensuring high-quality soldered connections. With the FU-500 / FU-601 soldering system, however, individual inconsistencies that naturally occur during manual soldering can also be eliminated.“

With a width of 145 mm, a height of 100 mm and a depth of 230 mm, the compact drive unit of the FU-500 soldering system allows the solder feed unit to be brought close to the soldering iron. This adjustment increases the accuracy of feeding solder wires with diameters from 0.3 mm to 1.6 mm. It is also possible to adapt the solder feed to the respective requirements. As the solder feed is monitored by an optical sensor, the system also reliably detects solder feed errors or the end of the solder roll. In addition, the system has a mechanism as standard that allows solder ball spatter to be prevented.

Soldering tip formats

The FU-601 automatic wire feeder is available with an output of 140 W or 300 W for ultra-high performance, achieving temperatures from 50 to 500 °C. Six different soldering tip temperatures can be preset. Six different soldering tip temperatures can be preset. The soldering system also supports a wide range of soldering tip formats - from classic chisels and special THT tips to tunnel tips for drag soldering. An adjustment device included in the scope of delivery allows precise positioning of the soldering tip and thus ensures efficient processing of a wide range of materials. The soldering tip can be replaced easily.

Temperature control

The soldering temperature is precisely regulated from 200 °C to 450 °C using a control unit, with the fast heat-up time and efficient heat transfer contributing significantly to high productivity. Important parameters such as temperature and operating status can be monitored via an LED display.

Vertical soldering units, modules for drag soldering, N2 adapters, temperature sensors and a specially developed tip cleaner are also available as options.

„Thanks to its wide range of elements and functions, the FU-500 / FU-601 automated soldering system sets new standards in precision and flexibility. Users can rely on soldering processes of the highest quality.“
